Some KS2 children recently attended an Art Festival at Haileybury.
The children in KS2 completed varied art work relating to the centenary of WW1 based on the theme of poppies. Some of this art work was selected to be entered and displayed in the 'Festival of Arts' at Haileybury School. The following children had their art work judged in the art competition: Daisy C, Niina P, Ella C, Elias K, Libby W, Faye C, Matthew L, Kirsty A, Amelia D, Maddison P, Ella Cl, Ellen J, Laila D, Callum S, Verona R, James T, Trinity D, Hannah M, Emily B and Marco T.
The Festival, to celebrate such art, was held on Saturday 17th May, where parents had the opportunity to peruse the collection of work and were then invited to an awards ceremony. The judging took place by the Head of Art and the prizewinners from Bengeo were Amelia D and Maddison P Year 3, Ella C Year 4, James T Year 5 and Trinity D Year 6. Such children made their way onto the stage at Haileybury to collect their prize of an art set. They must have been very proud!
